Yesterday Motorola sent out a press release announcing a new set of Android devices that are aimed at bridging the gap between work and play. A lot of these phones have been seen/heard of before (and even been out for a while now in one case) but there is some new specs and information to be had, so let’s give a brief run down, shall we?
DROID PRO delivers speed, convenience, security, and all the productivity tools that businesses require.
We’ll start with the strongest of them all, the DROID PRO. This is the most powerful phone included in this press release and is a the top phone for business users from Motorola. At first look this phone seems to be very practical indeed with a full QWERTY keyboard, multi-touch display, and Android 2.2. Also included are all the relevant full-push corporate email, calendar, and office style applications.
Key Features:
- 1 GHz processor, 4GB of memory (2GB internal and 2GB removable).
- 3.1-inch multi-touch display
- Android 2.2 with Adobe® Flash® Player
- 5-megapixel dual flash camera.

- Motorola security additions including AuthenTec IPSec multi-headed VPN integration, remote wipe of device & SD card, and complex password support. Plus, device and SD card encryption will be available in early 2011.
CITRUS delivers all the benefits of a full-featured smartphone in a compact and affordable device.
An entry level smartphone is how the CIRTUS can be summed up, this phone does it all at a decent price. There is only one stand out feature with this device, and that is the trackpad on the back of device. BACKTRACK™ sounds very interesting and I would love to give it a try.
Key Features:
- The CITRUS is equipped with BACKTRACK™. This is a touch panel on the back of the phone that allows users to navigate and scroll through webpages, home screens, emails and much more without obstructing the display.
SPICE is a perfectly packaged smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard and the power of Android™.
A very similar phone to the CITRUS here. The main differences being that it is slightly smaller and has a QWERTY keyboard.

- BACKTRACK™ Equipped.
- Features Motorola’s Flashback application. This allows users to view and manage their content all from one place.
BRAVO is a big-screen, touch tablet smartphone with a slim design.

Motorola FLIPSIDE
FLIPSIDE enables users to seamlessly manage their work and personal life.
The FLIPSIDE is a lot like the Motorola DEXT because of the horizontal QWERTY keyboard, but the FLIPSIDE comes with updated hardware and software.
Key Features:
- Full slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
- 3.1-inch high-res HVGA display
Now for two phones that we don’t need reminding about:
FLIPOUT gives Android customers something new to flip over with a unique pivot design and enhanced user experience.
Key Features:
- Full 5 row keyboard.
- Stylish square design.
- 720MHz Processor
