The Samsung Galaxy S 4 officially comes in only two colors right now – White Frost and Black Mist. Of course, you can get a gold plated S4 for a few thousand bucks, and four more official colors are on the way, but that’s still only a few options. The guys at Colorware have you covered. For $1000, they will ship you a GSM unlocked S4 in the color of your choice. Colors for the back plate, screen, frame, and frame are all customizable.

1 grand is a whole lot for another color, but Colorware assures that the phone goes through a “laborious” process, which inclues disassembling, cleaning, masking, painting, and then an inspection process. After being buffed and reassembled, it goes through one final inspection.

Hit the break for the official press release.

And the price of plastic went up again!!

  • shawn

I don’t understand why anyone would spend that much money on a phone color..I swear people have lost there fu*kin minds…just get a color case

  • ChuckN007

Save your money, wait a few months, and the additional colors offered by Samsung will probably include the one you want. More colors are coming out already, with still more being forecast.
Also, maybe put the $1,000 toward some counseling or something that will make you feel better about yourself as a valuable person who is valuable just because you are you. You’ve got some issues if your self worth and self image are such that the COLOR of your phone is a big deal. My phone came in one color — black. I never gave a second thought to the color, and neither did anyone who knows me.
It’s bad enough that people are so emotionally invested in the choice of their phone (iPhone, Android, etc.) that they argue with friends and in online forums about which is “better” or “best.” So, now some people not only “need” what they consider to be the correct phone, they need to have it in what they consider to be the best color.

Someone is f’n on CRACK if you even THINK that it is worth even $200 for something like that. I’m sorry, but you can buy a CASE that has different colors and be just as bloody good. This article should have been put under the title “You’re Kidding Right?” :p

U must have a small dick to get this or u r a class A retarded consumer… “Sadly” , they are plenty like that.

Galaxy S4 phone + the COLOR customization. (at 1,000 USD the phone comes with it already), but still, it’s too expensive since you can buy 2 S4′s at that price.
