Today marks the start of the staged rollout of the stable build of Oppo's ColorOS 13 for its Find X5 and Find X5 Pro flagship smartphones. Besides being based on Android 13, the new ColorOS features an added focus on smart productivity, enhanced privacy and safety aspects, as well as improved AI features.
The stable release of ColorOS 13 has begun rolling out to Find X5 and Find X5 Pro units in the following locations although carrier variants may have to wait a little while longer:
- Find X5 Pro: Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, France, Australia
- Find X5: United Arab Emirates, France
What can you expect when ColorOS 13 rolls out to your Find X5 or Find X5 Pro smartphone?
- Upgraded Multi-Screen Connect on ColorOS 13 to improve working efficiency across multiple devices
- ColorOS 13's Meeting Assistant to help boost productivity in online meetings
- Enhanced privacy and safety functions to ensure your safety and security when using your smart device
- Meeting Assistant detects when you are in an online meeting and triggers adaptive network optimizations to allocate more resources to apps such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet. This helps to ensure a smoother, higher-quality internet connection during online meetings, with notifications also being minimized.
- Multi-Screen Connect has been upgraded to make it easier and faster to move files between your Oppo smartphone or tablet and PC, all without consuming your precious mobile data. Most major file types are supported, and you can install the client software on most Windows computers.
If you reside in one of the locations mentioned above with a Find X5 or Find X5 Pro, it's worth heading over to Settings>About Device and tapping on the ColorOS button to see if the new firmware is ready to download.
