A fresh leak has exposed a comprehensive breakdown of the entire Pixel 11 lineup. It covers all four devices expected to land later this year, which we already know to now have an all-glass camera bar. The entire module is switching to a single black strip instead of the previous two-tone look.

As feared, the leak confirms that nothing much is changing besides minor improvements to display and some other areas. But there's still time for Google to blow our minds, as the official announcement is months away. For now, here's everything new about the Pixel 11 series.

Pixel 11 may come with mythical cameras

A Telegram channel known as “Mystic Leaks” released details of the Pixel 11 series. They've been teasing the information for a while. Regardless of which model you're eyeing, every Pixel 11 device will run on the same Tensor G6 silicon chip.

It's codenamed Malibu, and is reportedly built on TSMC's N2 node. It pairs with an ARM C1-Ultra core clocked at 4.11 GHz with a mix of C1-Pro efficiency cores. It also ships alongside the new Titan M3 security chip (Epic), a PowerVR C-Series GPU, a MediaTek M90 modem, and a new TPU codenamed Santafe.

Pixel 11 (Cubs)

The standard Pixel 11 is coming in with a 6.3-inch OLED display and 1080×2424 resolution. It has a 120Hz refresh rate with 3100 nits peak brightness. Battery capacity is 4840 mAh, and RAM options are listed as 8GB or 12GB depending on the model.

The device is also getting a new main camera codenamed Chemosh. It's paired with a Vesta lens that's very likely 50MP. It'll come in Black, Green, Pink, and Purple. It's quite interesting that the brand went with deity names. It's sad that we can't guess the specs beyond the literal meanings.

Chemosh in ancient mythology is a Moabite deity from the Old Testament, and Vesta is the Roman goddess of the hearth. Hopefully, the cameras are as powerful as implied.

Pixel 11 Pro (Grizzly)

The Pixel 11 Pro’s display increases to 6.3-inch OLED with a 1280×2856 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Bright peaks at 3600 nits and the battery is 4707mAh. RAM is available in 12GB or 16GB configurations across two distinct models.

The camera system has a telephoto shooter alongside the main lens. It's codenamed Bastet with a Vesta lens. Bastet is the Egyptian goddess of protection and cats, and Vesta is the Roman goddess of the hearth.

The telephoto is codenamed Barghest with a lens codenamed Chonky. Barghest is a monstrous creature from English folklore, while Chonky may very well mean large or chunky. It could imply physical size or a larger lens element for better light gathering and longer focal length.

Pixel 11 Pro XL (Kodiak)

The Pro XL has a 6.8-inch display with a 1344×2992 resolution. It shares the same 1–120Hz refresh range, RAM sizes, and peak brightness as the Pro. It also has the same dual-camera setup as the Pro. However, the battery is 5,000mAh.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold (Yogi)

Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold has a 2076×2160 inner OLED display with 1–120Hz refresh and 3,500 nits peak brightness. The outer display is a 1080×2342 OLED screen running at 60–120Hz, with brightness reaching 3600 nits peak.

Battery capacity is 4,658 mAh, and RAM options mirror the Pro models at 12GB or 16GB. The camera setup features a new main sensor using the Chemosh lens.

Google has two surprises for you

The thermometer that debuted on the Pixel 8 Pro is reportedly gone from the entire Pro lineup and has now been replaced by an RGB LED array inside the camera bar. It's described as a smaller version of Nothing's Glyph interface. It may display notification alerts for calls, messages, and apps while the phone is face-down.

Although the thermometer never found a mainstream audience, it was never purely a gimmick either. Several Redditors stumbled onto real use cases, such as using it to check food safety after a power outage.

Google's second surprise is Project Toscana, their long-rumored IR face unlock feature. It's reportedly not making it into this generation either, as it's not ready for release yet. If it ever were to ship, it would bring the same level of depth-based facial recognition on iOS to Pixel. It's among the safest biometric unlock methods on any phone.

IR face unlock itself uses infrared light to map and recognize your face in three dimensions. It works in complete darkness and is significantly harder to fool with a photo or a video of your face. Regular Android phones lack this sensitivity because they rely on the camera for basic face recognition.

Meanwhile, Apple has been using the technology for Face ID since the iPhone X in 2017. As always with leaks at this stage, treat the finer details as exciting rather than confirmed.
