Sweepstakes casinos have become extremely popular on Android. According to the news on SweepsKings, there are currently lots of trending sweepstakes casino apps in the Google Play Store, including High 5 Casino, McLuck, and Pulsz all clock in with 1 million+ downloads, while the likes of Hello Millions and Fortune Wheelz also top the charts. These casinos are also popular in-browser, too. So, if you’re interested in playing sweepstakes casino games on your Android device, this guide has got you covered.
What Are Sweepstakes Casinos?
Sweepstakes casinos let players access thousands of casino-style games using virtual coins instead of actual money. Anyone who collects enough ‘Sweeps Coins’ can redeem them for rewards, such as gift cards or cash transfers. And users who simply want to play for fun can use ‘Gold Coins’ for free.
These ‘sweepstakes’ casinos are also extremely gamer-friendly. They come with features like leaderboards, free-entry tournaments, daily missions, and more. It’s ultimately why they’re so popular with Android gamers, outside of the fact that you get to potentially win prizes.
When it comes to sweepstakes casino prizes, most operators require you to collect at least 50 SCs before you can start redeeming rewards. 1 SC is worth $1, so if you win 100 SCs on the slots, you’re entitled to $100 worth of prizes. As an example, if you’ve got 150 SCs sitting in your balance, you might opt to redeem them for three $50 gift cards.
How to Play Sweepstakes Casino Games on Android
Playing sweepstakes casino games on Android is easier than you think. Whether you’re playing on a smartphone or tablet, there are two options. You can either download a sweepstakes casino app from the Google Play Store or join one of these casinos via your Android browser and play that way instead. It’s generally recommended you download one of the apps if you want a more complete playing experience.
| App | Games | Welcome Bonus |
| McLuck | 1,000+ games | 7,500 Gold Coins + 2.5 Sweeps Coins |
| High 5 Casino | 1,500+ games | 700 Gold Coins, 55 Sweeps Coins, and 400 Diamonds |
| Pulsz | 700+ games | 5,000 Gold Coins + 2.3 Sweeps Coins |
| Hello Millions | 1,500+ games | 15,000 Gold Coins + 2.5 free Sweepstakes Coins |
| Zula Casino | 2,800+ games | 120,000 Gold Coins and 10 Sweeps Coins |
In the Google Play Store, all of these sweepstakes casinos can be downloaded for free. Once they’ve been installed, you’ll then need to register an account. Almost all sweepstakes casinos now have a minimum player age requirement of 21+ and you’ll also need to play from an eligible state.
The Different Sweepstakes Casino Categories
What’s fun about sweepstakes casinos is that they boast a ton of different game categories. Unsurprisingly, slots are the most popular due to how simple they are, but you also have roulette, blackjack, poker, crash games, bingo, and sometimes even fish shooting games. Effectively, there’s something for all types of players and all you have to do is navigate the different sections and hand pick which games you’re interested in.
Once you’ve picked a game out, you’ll then be transported to the main game screen, whether it’s a slot like ‘Chaos Crew 3’ or a crash game like ‘JetX’. The next step is to then pick whether you want to play with Sweeps Coins or Gold Coins in-game. Remember, Sweeps Coins have actual in-casino value and can be redeemed for prizes, whereas Gold Coins are free-play and intended just for fun.
If you’re a first-time player on Android, use Gold Coins to start out. You’ll familiarize yourself with the different game rules and controls this way. After, you can then switch to Sweeps Coins, which you should bet more seriously and in lower amounts.
Are Sweepstakes Casinos Legal on Android?
Yep, sweepstakes casinos remain entirely legal on Android, which is why the Google Play Store has stocked countless different sweepstakes casino apps over the past few years. The only catch is that you need to play from a legal state. Keep in mind that sweepstakes casinos are legal in 33 states but have recently been blocked in California, New York, and several other states, with lawmakers opting to classify sweepstakes casinos as legitimate gambling platforms.
Summary
The good news is that you’re now ready to go and start playing sweepstakes casino games on Android.
Remember to collect your free sign-up coins, experiment with different game categories, and always practice with Gold Coins to begin with.
Over time, if you’re able to collect enough Sweeps Coins, the option will then be there for you to start redeeming rewards and prizes.
