Looking for something wild, riotously funny, and with zero risk of a sugar rush? Netflix may have just delivered the perfect unfiltered antidote to all the swoony romances—they’re serving up Bert Kreischer’s latest series, and fans simply can’t get enough.

Love Is (All) Around… Or Not Quite

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and, predictably, Netflix is making sure every romantic—whether coupled-up or single—has something to watch. The platform boasts a fresh line-up featuring the much-anticipated arrival of His & Hers, the return of Love Is Blind, and, of course, the fourth season of Bridgerton.

But what if all that saccharine sweetness isn’t your cup of tea? Good news: Netflix has something for those who prefer their screen-time heavy on laughs and light on the heart-shaped confetti.

Bert Kreischer Takes Center Stage

For audiences in the United States, Bert Kreischer barely needs an introduction. The American comedian is famous for his wild stand-up and totally unfiltered humor—a genuine star in his own right. In other parts of the world, like France, Kreischer’s particular brand of showmanship is still catching on, but, honestly, it’s probably just a matter of time.

Since January 22, 2026, Free Bert has been available on Netflix. It proudly follows in the footsteps of those “larger than life” shows—think big, brash, and unmistakably the product of its creator’s personality.

A Comedy Where Reality and Fiction Collide

So, what’s on the menu for this first season where comedy, fiction, and real-life chaos merge?

  • Brazen excesses
  • Absurd situations
  • Behind-the-scenes glimpses of fame
  • Raw, occasionally borderline humor

You get six episodes packed with non-stop energy—ideal for binging with a giant bucket of popcorn (seriously, go big or go home). This docu-fiction format puts a very bright spotlight on a character as out-there as he is endearing, playing with his own image and flaws, all in the name of the punchline.

A Gloriously Unfiltered Ride through Beverly Hills

In Free Bert, Kreischer embodies a fictionalized version of himself. After a highly publicized blunder, his lovable clown persona sees his TV career abruptly thrown on pause and is suddenly forced to slow down. At that exact moment, his two daughters begin attending an ultra-selective private school in Beverly Hills. Suddenly, the family lands in a world obsessed with strict social codes and status, where image and influence call all the shots.

Will Bert Kreischer manage to fit into a world that’s way too uptight for someone like him, or will he just throw caution to the wind? Those who’ve already binged the first season likely know the answer to that one. But the real question: will there be a second season? Narratively, the Season 1 finale leaves the door wide open for more, but it remains to be seen if Netflix will be up for continuing this wild ride with everyone’s favorite comedian.

  1. Valentine’s is right around the corner? Are you sure about that? This show is not new either, been out for a while. You call yourself a reporter, even if it’s entertainment, but you are just lazy. This is just taking advantage of Bert being in the news recently so you lazily reposted an old story.
