The Samsung Galaxy S25 is the smallest of the Galaxy S series in 2025, and in a world where big phones tend to be king, that means it isn't going to be the most popular of the bunch. However, it is the most affordable, and at the same time, it packs plenty of power. If you don't mind smaller phones in the first place, it's an amazing device.

Even though it is already priced sensibly for a flagship phone, Mint Mobile is offering a deal that will make it a more attractive option. The carrier is ready to offer you the Galaxy S25 and two years of unlimited data, at a cost that breaks down to just $30 each month. However, there's a big catch, and it might be enough for some folks not to consider this.

Mint Mobile, an MVNO owned by T-Mobile, is pretty popular. Part of that is because of its Ryan Reynolds involvement, but another part of that is simply because it offers good service at a relatively sensible price point. Mint Mobile's prepaid plans are structured based on how much data you get, and they look like this:

  • 5GB: $15/monthly
  • 15GB: $20/monthly
  • 20GB: $25/monthly
  • Unlimited: $30/monthly

With that in mind, you'll understand how sweet it is that Mint Mobile is ready to give you the Samsung Galaxy S25 for free if you opt in for two years of Unlimited service from the carrier. The deal commences today, at 12 PM PT, and will be running until the end of next month, July 31st, so there's plenty of time for you to gear up and take advantage of this.

The Big Catch Is That You Have to Pay for Everything Upfront

Of course, I haven't forgotten that I said there was a catch. Being a prepaid carrier, Mint Mobile service works by having you pay for it before the fact. In the case of this Galaxy S25 deal, you are going to have to pay for the entire two years of service upfront, and that right there is the part that a lot of people will log off.

Remember that we're talking about paying $30 a month for two years. That comes to a total of $720, and that's what you're going to have to pay upfront to take hold of this deal.

To be fair, $720 is cheaper than a new Galaxy S25, so if you'd prefer, you can look at it like getting an S25 at a slight discount and getting two years of Mint service for free. Also, only new customers can grab onto this one.
