On September 4, 2024 at IFA Berlin 2024, Yaber introduced its K3 series. The Chinese company is notable for making top-quality projectors, and the latest series presents the K3 and K3 Pro models. They're a step up from the previous K2s, with two new standout technologies; CoolSwift and NovaGlow.

They also come with cinematic 1080p resolution, 1,600 ANSI lumens of brightness, and JBL stereo speakers. The Pro model even adds a subwoofer for deeper bass and smart features. The K3 Pro is available now for £549 ($499 in the US), while the standard K3 will come out much later this year. It will be priced at £469 ($599 in the US).

Yaber launches next-level projectors with plenty of entertainment

The main difference between the Yaber K3 and K3 Pro is the sound quality and price. Both come with 15W JBL stereo speakers with Dolby Audio, but the K3 Pro takes it up a notch with a subwoofer. Price-wise, the K3 comes in at £469, while the K3 Pro is £549 (or $599 in the US).

Other than that, both models share the same 1080p resolution, 1,600 ANSI lumens brightness, and Yaber’s advanced cooling and image technology. CoolSwift keeps the projectors from overheating, using U-shaped heatsink and dual cooler. Meanwhile, NovaGlow boosts brightness and image quality for your videos.

The K3 series also brings smart capabilities that make them easy to use. Auto Focus adjusts the sharpness of the image automatically, so you don’t have to fiddle with it every time you move the projector.

Then there’s Auto Keystone Correction, which fixes distorted images, especially when you’re projecting at an angle and the picture looks weird or slanted. I find it useful, especially because I’m not a huge fan of projectors. They can be tricky to set up, and this feature just makes the whole process smoother.

Align, stream, and enjoy with cutting-edge features

Adding to the previous K3 series features we mentioned, Intelligent Screen Alignment checks that the projected image fits perfectly on your screen or wall. So, if you accidentally set it up slightly off-center, it automatically fixes the alignment for you.

Finally, Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance is something you can't do without if something is in the way of the projection. Let's say there's a piece of furniture, the image will adjust itself to avoid being blocked.

If you like to binge on different titles, you may appreciate the built-in TV dongle. It gives you access to over 7,000 apps, including Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube, so you can stream content directly without needing extra devices.

You can also control the projector from afar using voice commands and transfer existing content from Apple or Android with NFC Tap. Plus, blue light-filtering keeps you from straining your eyes more than you already have.

The K3 series is already mind blowing ahead of official launch, and Yaber has also unveiled another projector series, the L2. It will be available in the fourth quarter of the year at €239 (or $600 in the USA). If you hurry now, you can get them for $360.
