I've always thought ‘Gay Pride' would make a great alternative traditional beer name to rival Fuller's London Pride. Naturally, asking for a couple of pints of ‘Gay Pride' could raise an eyebrow or two.

But on a more serious note, Google has taken part in the LGBT/Gay Pride parade in San Francisco, with a slight twist.

That's right – our non-gender specific Android friend has gone gay, sporting the rainbow flag, in these promotional t-shirts sported by hundreds of Google fans. Quite an impressive display to be quite honest with you, and apparently, there was a huge float on the parade too.

Good on you, Google.

  1. So, Frundsberg, you’re going to go through the expense of changing your phone because you’re a bigot? Good for you… a fool and their cash are easily parted, as they say.

  2. Hey to everyone who wants a shirt, heres a link: https://store.google.com/?utm_source=googlestore&utm_medium=redirect&utm_campaign=store-brand&hl=en-US

Google has an online store. Its googlestore.com

  3. I called Google Cambridge, MA headquarters because these shirts were my favorite part of the Boston Pride Parade and the receptionist seemed to have gotten more than one call about it. Her response to me explaining why i was calling was simply that only employees

  4. Having looked on eBay in the UK and USA, I can’t find any of those t-shirts listed yet. I’m sure they won’t take long to filter through though.

Google could even manufacture them for general sale. You never know.

  5. Google had a big float last year too. BTW its not “Gay” Pride. Its LGBT pride. There’s more variation than just gay…
