In Legend of Mushroom, there are 27 different classes for you to play with (disregarding the initial Adventurer rank), with 6 of them being the final forms of their respective evolution lines.

While you might fancy seeing yourself as a knight in shining armor, other classes could be more fun and powerful, especially for PvP. So, let’s check out our Legend of Mushroom class tier list to see how each fares against the others.

For our Legend of Mushroom tier list, we’ve grouped the different classes into 5 distinct tiers, each ranked based on their base effectiveness and strengths.

These aren’t set in stone, though, because each can still be built differently by adapting unique class builds. With that in mind, here’s what our Legend of Mushroom class tiers look like:

Legend of Mushroom's Class Tier List.

S-Tier

S-ranked classes are the game’s most amazing choices. Their kits are extremely strong, focusing on specific DPS mechanics to devastate both enemy mobs and online players.

Warbringer

Tough to break down while dishing punishing Counterstrikes, Warbringers enjoy unbeatable damage buffs, making them scary to fight.

They become even deadlier the less HP they have too!

Sacred Hunter

The Sacred Hunter's Passive Skill 3 (P3) in Legend of Mushroom.

The long-ranged Sacred Hunter is formidable because of the unstoppable barrage of Combos they can unleash, setting up opportunities for phenomenal damages via Critical Hits.

Even better, their Active Skill prevents enemies from regenerating Skill Energy, forcing them to attack using Basic Attacks for a short while!

Plume Monarch

Plume Monarchs are sometimes overlooked, but they are fearsome combatants who can destroy enemies thanks to the number of bolts they can shoot per hit and Combo!

Their Active Skill also ignores enemies’ Evasion stat for a brief period, which is nifty for Arena battles.

Prophet

The Prophet's Passive Skill 4 (P4) in Legend of Mushroom.

Prophets can conjure unbelievable destructive Skills multiple times, pulverizing foes in mere seconds.

Plus, their Skills refresh quicker than the other classes, and they stun enemies for a few seconds longer.

Darklord

The Darklord's Passive Skill 4 (P4) in Legend of Mushroom.

Darklords are the more menacing versions of Prophets, boasting noteworthy damage bonuses to their Skills.

Their gameplay is all about absolute carnage, complementing those willing to risk it all in an all-out gambit.

Warmonger

Despite being the pre-evolution of Warbringers, Warmongers are grouped as S-tier because they benefit from the same proficiencies as their superior counterparts.

They only lack the Airborne effect that Warbringers deal to foes after their exclusive Skill, but this still doesn’t diminish their overall threat!

A-Tier

Classes under the A-tier aren’t to be underestimated. Depending on the build, they can even rival S-classes if not for their predetermined kits.

Martial Sage

The more tanky variant of Warbringers, Martials Sages can survive countless hits from even the worst monsters, thanks to their shields and self-heals.

To compensate, they don’t get crucial boosts to certain attacking traits, but you can supplement this using Skills or Pals.

Swordmaster

Swordmasters are the Martial Sages’ pre-evolution, but they get the same abilities too, except for the Active Skill’s healing effect.

So, with some shields and healing from other Skills or Pals, they aren’t far behind their evolved brethren at all!

Shadow Hunter

The Shadow Hunter in Legend of Mushroom.

Shadow Hunters share a similar kit to Sacred Hunters, with the exception of the Active Skill’s effect preventing enemies from regenerating Skill Energy.

So, their threat level is only slightly less, but they can still demolish foes when built for Attack Speed, Combo Damage, and Critical Damage!

Arrowgod

Remove the Plume Monarchs’ ignore Evasion buff (Active Skill), and you get the Arrowgods. Truly, they are still the same without the extra effect!

Hence, they are still dangerous against nearly every content in the game, including other players.

Holy Guide

The Prophets’ lesser form, Holy Guides can call upon their Skills frequently to best their enemies.

They're unable to stun foes for longer, though, but that doesn’t diminish their capabilities whatsoever.

Bishop

The Bishop in Legend of Mushroom.

Bishops are almost as potent as Darklords, but the absence of their Active Skill’s Skill Critical Damage bonus brings their DPS potential down slightly.

That’s not to say they’re not formidable! Bishops are still viable for many challenging Bosses and Arena battles, so keep that in mind.

Berserker

The Berserker in Legend of Mushroom.

Although Berserkers aren’t on the same level as the Warbringer and Warmonger, they are still almost as durable, with their Counterstrikes being as lethal.

As such, they deserve their A-tier status despite being a 4th-evolution class (2 ranks lower than Warmongers)!

Dual Crossbower

Despite being the weaker version of Plume Monarchs and Arrowgods, Dual Crossbowers still offer tremendous damage potential.

Many offense-builds favor their class line, so Dual Crossbowers get many attacking boosts, making them as deadly.

B-Tier

Classes in B-tier aren’t great for PvP, but they can still work for clearing auto-battle stages consistently, especially throughout the mid-game.

Once unlocked, Claymore Wielders can help you outlast mobs and Bosses fairly well.

They receive a few of the same Passive Skills as the Swordmaster and Martial Sage but fall short of their shield and self-healing.

Sharpshooter

The mushroom Sharpshooters are also quite good in mid-game PvP and Dungeons, offering respectable DPS output.

That being said, they lack the specialized abilities of the Sacred Hunters and Shadow Hunters, but you'll get there eventually if you opt for this evolution line.

Chronomancer

The Chronomancer in Legend of Mushroom.

Chronomancers are exceptional magic wielders, almost as impressive as the Prophets and Holy Guides if not for their lack of shield-breaking effect and faster Energy Regeneration (Passive Skill 5, P5).

Storm Priest

The Storm Priest in Legend of Mushroom.

Swapping the Chronomancers' peaceful Skills for added firepower, the Storm Priest sweeps the floor of monsters via their attacking traits.

They are the pre-requisite forms of Bishops, who will then grow to become the nightmarish Darklords.

C-Tier

In the C-tier, classes aren't viable for many PvP instances and harder PvE trials.

That being said, they are mainly the early-stage forms of your end-game favorites (Martial Sage, Sacred Hunter, etc.), so it's worth knowing how they compare with the others in-game.

Swordsman

The Swordsman class is dependable for getting you past a lot of the game's beginning stages, meaning you won't be troubled about HP-related issues against mobs and Bosses.

Axe Warrior

As durable as the Swordsman class yet more ferocious, Axe Warriors should have no problem breezing through the beginning stages of Legend of Mushroom too.

Shadow Sniper

The Shadow Sniper in Legend of Mushroom.

Shadow Snipers give you insight into how the latter forms (Shadow Hunter, Sacred Hunter) would perform; their Combos proc frequently, besides attacking blindingly fast.

Wind Crossbower

The Wind Crossbower in Legend of Mushroom.
Photo: Joy Nice Games

Wind Crossbowers shoot more per attack, so their Basic and Combo damages per hit are arguably the highest among the other classes.

This is just a taste of the outrageous DPS ceiling offered by the later Plume Monarchs and Arrowgods.

Healer

The Healer in Legend of Mushroom.

Healers depend entirely on the destructive powers of their Skills but are a bit weak when they're on cooldown.

As such, they need more support from Pals during the beginning stages of Legend of Mushroom.

Spellcaster

The Spellcaster in Legend of Mushroom.

Spellcasters can hold their own against enemy waves, thanks to their increased Skill Critical Damage (P3).

With sufficient offense Skills in tow, getting through the game's low-level difficulties won't be a problem.

D-Tier

Lastly, D-tier classes aren't worth playing because of their limited access to more powerful class Skills.

Still, it's a good practice to know about them either way, particularly if you're creating a new Legend of Mushroom account.

WarriorArcherMage

The Warrior is your first feel for becoming an indomitable fighter, eventually leading up to either the Martial Sage or Warbringer.

The improved Counter chance and increased Defense stat are amazing for your character between Level 30 and Level 50.

Archer

The Archer class is synonymous with dexterity-based vocations from other RPG games.

With their increased Attack Speed and Combo rate, you'll feel unstoppable beating Hard stages and above, up to a certain point.

Mage

If direct damage or unbreakable defenses aren't your thing, then the Mage class's Skill masteries are your cup of tea.

Your Skills become empowered thanks to the Mage's attributes, paving the way for the end-game specialties of the Prophet or Darklord.

Conclusion

Joy Nice Games‘s hard work shows in Legend of Mushroom; not only are the in-game mechanics deep and interrelated, but the extensive job/ class system feels so rewarding for dedicated players sticking with the game.

Naturally, the next things to look at should be the game's best Skills and Pals for your chosen hero, so stick around with us to learn more about them as well!
