Right now, there are 36 Skills in Legend of Mushroom. While some all-round skills work well with any build, some builds require specific skills for best performance. And this best skills guide highlights them all.
We've used the Awakened form as the focal point but the skills suggested below work well at almost every evolution stage.
Read on to learn about the Best Skills in Legend of Mushroom for Warrior, Archer, and Mage class. You'll also find a table of skills that work well with every build. Don't miss out on that.
Now, let's dive right in!
Best Skills
From complementing the build's own Active and Passive skills to adding a trump card up your sleeve, these skills will bring out the best performance in every game mode.
Best Skills For Warriors
The Warrior class – the melee attackers in Legend of Mushroom – has two pinnacles: Martial Sage and Warbringer. Primarily, both of them are heavy AoE damage dealers. However, it's the secondary style that differentiates them.
Martial Sage is the path for tanky players who don't like to die, regardless of the game mode. Warbringer is the choice of aggressive killers that want to one-shot every enemy.
Below are the best skills for both these paths.
Best Skills for Martial Sages

| Icon | Name | Effect |
![]() | Disarm | Deals 2682% AoE DMG. Disarm targets for 3 seconds. |
![]() | Shroom Shield | Deals 1183% DMG. Gain a shield equal to 20% of max HP for 20 seconds. |
![]() | Smoke Bomb | Deals 2176% AoE DMG. Increase DMG received by enemies by 30% for 5 seconds. |
![]() | Blitz Assault | Deals 5829% DMG. Provides DMG immunity for 3 seconds. |
![]() | Clone Strike | Generate a clone with 30% of Shroom's HP. Deals 200% DMG with each attack. Lasts for 10 seconds. |
![]() | Hundred Slashes | Deals 4663% DMG. Gain 20% basic attack damage resistance. Gain 0.5% ATK Bonus on current HP for 5 seconds. |
All SIX of the skills mentioned above boost the damage dealing as well as the tanky-ness of the Martial Sage.
Take Clone Strike for example. Along with increasing the damage output, this skill turns your shroom invincible for 10 seconds as the clone takes all the damage. Shroom Shield does have low DMG stats but the defense boost is insane.
Blitz Assault is a personal favorite. It deals an insane amount of damage and the blitz looks super cool. The immunity isn't half-bad either.
Hundred Slashes is simply a must-have skill in Legend of Mushroom. You'll see this skill suggested for almost every build.
Best Skills for Warbringers

| Icon | Name | Effect |
![]() | Wordly Snare | Deals 5413% DMG. Increase CRIT Rate by 10%. Gain an additional 3% CRIT DMG for every 1% CRIT Rate. (5 seconds) |
![]() | Star Array | Deals 4330% DMG. Increase Skill Crit Rate by 10%. Gain an additional 3% Skill CRIT DMG for every 1% Skill CRIT Rate. (5 seconds) |
![]() | Nature's Renewal | Deals 1775% DMG. Recover 30% of max HP in 5 seconds. |
![]() | Easy Breezy | Deals 1657% AoE DMG. Reduce enemy ATK by 20% for 5 seconds. |
To get the best out of Warbringers, you need to equip them with skills that deal massive damage and help them counter enemy moves. The above skills will help you check both these boxes.
Easy Breezy, for instance, reduces the enemy's attack by 20% for 5 seconds. That's enough debuff and a big enough window for you to launch a critical counterattack.
Wordly Snare and Star Array are not easy to get but their buffs are tailor-made for a Warbringer build. The same goes for Clone Strike and Hundred Slashes, two skills focusing only on damage-dealing.
Nature's Renewal is only in there for some HP boost. Even the aggressive ones need to survive.
Best Skills For Archers
Archers are the Ranged warriors in Legend of Mushroom. These heroes rely heavily on combo attacks and critical hits. Depending on your evolution choice at Level 50, you can end up as a Sacred Hunter or a Plume Monarch.
The difference between these two classes is subtle. While Sacred Hunters focus on Critical and are decent with Combos, Plume Monarchs go all in on Combos.
Here's a list of skills that can help you boost their respective preferences.
Best Skills for Sacred Hunters

| Icon | Name | Effect |
![]() | Windborne Arrow | Deals 2665% DMG. Inflict Vulnerability for 5 seconds, and deals 100% extra damage if non-skill DMG is dealt within these 5 seconds. |
![]() | Wordly Snare | Deals 5413% DMG. Increase CRIT Rate by 10%. Gain an additional 3% CRIT DMG for every 1% CRIT Rate. (5 seconds) |
![]() | Star Array | Deals 4330% DMG. Increase Skill Crit Rate by 10%. Gain an additional 3% Skill CRIT DMG for every 1% Skill CRIT Rate. (5 seconds) |
![]() | Take It Slow | Throws a cactus to deal 1635% AoE DMG. Reduces ATK SPD of targets by 40% for 5 seconds. |
![]() | Blade Pierce | Throws Sharp Blades to deal 4663% DMG. The target loses 1.5% of their max HP per second for 5 seconds. |
![]() | Smoke Bomb | Deals 2176% AoE DMG. Increase DMG received by enemies by 30% for 5 seconds. |
As mentioned above, Sacred Hunters excel at Critical and Combos and the above-listed skills boost both those things.
Wordly Snare and Star Array are crit-based skills while Take It Slow, Blade Pierce, and Smoke Bomb are the best-suited combos for Sacred Hunters.
No matter your evolution level, Windborne Arrow is a must-have for an Archer build. It not only deals massive initial damage but also opens up a 5-second window for you to stack more damage.
Best Skills for Plume Monarchs

| Icon | Name | Effect |
![]() | Windborne Arrow | Deals 2665% DMG. Inflict Vulnerability for 5 seconds, and deals 100% extra damage if non-skill DMG is dealt within these 5 seconds. |
![]() | Hundred Slashes | Deals 4663% DMG. Gain 20% basic attack damage resistance. Gain 0.5% ATK Bonus on current HP for 5 seconds. |
![]() | Speed Surge | Deals 706% DMG. Increase attack speed by 30% for 5 seconds. |
To support the Combo-based fighting style of Plume Monarchs, it's best to equip them with combo skills. Take It Slow, Blade Pierce and Smoke Bomb are a must, being some of the most rewarding combos in the game.
Up next, as mentioned above, Windborne Arrow is a must due to its high damage output.
Hundred Slashes is in there for some serious damage dealing and some much-needed protection.
Speed Surge is an interesting skill for an Archer. While it won't deal massive damage, it speeds up the attack. Imagine dropping the Plume Monarch active skill – Sun Pursuit – with the Speed Surge active.
Best Skills For Mages
The long-range spell casters in Legend of Mushroom rely on ATK and Stun. But, as you branch out, the focus starts to shift.
The Prophet build helps you with ATK and Stun but also chips in with some Energy Regenration and Skill Cooldown Reduction. On the other hand, Darklords focus on Skill Crit with ATK and Stun.
Since the primary focus is on ATK and Stun, the same skills work for both of them aside from one or two differences.
Best Skills for Prophets

| Icon | Name | Effect |
![]() | Disarm | Deals 2682% AoE DMG. Disarm targets for 3 seconds. |
![]() | Dazzled | Deals 3134% AoE DMG. Stuns targets for 1.5 seconds. |
![]() | Durian Bomb | Summons 3 Durians that stay on the battlefield for 5 seconds. Each Durian deals 888% AoE Damage. Slows down targets by 40%. |
![]() | Take It Slow | Throws a cactus to deal 1635% AoE DMG. Reduces ATK SPD of targets by 40% for 5 seconds. |
![]() | Smoke Bomb | Deals 2176% AoE DMG. Increase DMG received by enemies by 30% for 5 seconds. |
![]() | Crimson Moonfall | Deals 2098% DMG. Each successive cast increases DMG by 50%. Up to 3 Stacks. |
The Active Skill of the Prophet deals a whopping 4088% AoE DMG and stuns the targets for up to 8 seconds. Combine that with the stun of Dazzled, slowing down of Durian Bomb, and Disarm, you can cause some serious damage to your enemies.
Crimson Moonfall is another tailor-made skill that perfectly suits the Mage class. You'll see this in the Best Skills for Darklords table too.
Smoke Bomb and Take It Slow also debuff the enemies in one way or another, opening a window for quick and lethal magical attacks.
Best Skills for Darklords

| Icon | Name | Effect |
![]() | Disarm | Deals 2682% AoE DMG. Disarm targets for 3 seconds. |
![]() | Wild Gust | Summons a Gale. Deals 2642% AoE DMG. Increase ATK by 15% for 5 seconds. |
![]() | Crimson Moonfall | Deals 2098% DMG. Each successive cast increases DMG by 50%. Up to 3 Stacks. |
Much like the skills suggested for Prophets, the skills for Darklords also revolve around Stun.
One standout skill for a Darklord build is the Star Array, the best CRIT-based skill in Legend of Mushroom. It works great with the 50% Skill Crit DMG boost of Darklord's Active Skil.
You won't unlock it anytime soon. But when you do, make sure it's in the skill slot all the time.
Wild Gust is another wild card for Darklords. With the Level 40 Passive Skill, you'll get +27% ATK.
Best General Skills
There are EIGHT Legend of Mushroom skills that I think work well with every build and perform equally well in every game mode. It's best to have at least two of these in your skills slots all the time.
![]() Nature's Renewal | ![]() Shroom Shield | ![]() Durian Bomb | ![]() Disarm |
![]() Smoke Bomb | ![]() Clone Strike | ![]() Blitz Assault | ![]() Blade Pierce |
Conclusion
These are all the best skills in Legend of Mushroom right now.
As with Star Array, Crimson Fall, and a few other Immortal skills, we might see new skills get added to the game with new Events. When that happens, we'll update this guide accordingly.
