Google's Pixel event has been confirmed for August 12 this year, and it's where the company will unveil its new flagship lineup for the year. The Pixel 11 series is already moving through FCC certification, and the company has filed paperwork for all the models.

Before the official reveal, a fresh batch of leaks have surfaced. This time, it offers an early look at the colors and specifications we might officially see at the event. Here's what they look like.

Pixel 11 series isn't shy to play with colors

9To5Google, through its sister publication 9To5Toys, spotted Amazon listings showing the new Pixel 11 phones in their launch colors.

The base Pixel 11 appeared in three colors. The listing titles used the names Obsidian, Hibiscus, and Pistachio, none of which matched any names that had leaked before. But digging into the product descriptions revealed the colors were labeled Midnight, Fuchsia, and Moss.

The public theory is that the former were likely early placeholder names Google used internally at some point, and the latter are the final names.

Shortly after these leaks, four colors also surfaced for the Pixel 11 Pro: Dune (a warm peach and salmon tone), Light Fog (a pale lavender-grey), Pine (an olive-green, and Sterling (a dark charcoal shade).

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold appeared in Pine too and Midnight. The listings have long been deleted, as is expected of premature announcements or releases.

So far, we know from the leaked listings that the base Pixel 11 will come with a 6.3-inch display at 1080×2424 resolution, 256GB of storage priced at $899, and 12GB of RAM.

Earlier rumors had strangely claimed Google might cut the base model down to just 8GB, but the listing showed 12GB, so it's still unclear whether RAM will differ between the base and Pro tiers.

Battery capacities are 4,985 mAh for the base Pixel 11, 5,115 mAh for the Pro XL, and 4,750 mAh for the Fold, each a slight bump over last year's numbers. The listings also mentioned a Google Pixel Tag as a compatible accessory, which could be the AirTag competitor the company has teased for years.

The series is FCC certified

Interestingly, FCC documentation for the phones reference MediaTek modem algorithms. It confirms that Google is truly switching away from Samsung for its modem technology on the Tensor G6 chip and moving to MediaTic IP instead. The Tensor G6 chips are expected to be the first Google-designed chips manufactured using TSMC's 2 nanometer process.

That said, the Pixel 11 Pro WLAN radio emissions data wasn't included alongside the other devices. Also, only the Pixel 11 Pro XL models show evidence of having a Thread radio built in.

In particular, Thread is a smart-home connectivity protocol for connecting to smart locks, thermostats, hubs, and other devices similar to what the Nest products. If only the Pro XL shows evidence of it, then smaller Pro and base Pixel 11 might not support some smart home setups.

One commenter under the now deleted listing also pointed out an interesting detail on the Pixel 11 Pro. Renders in Pine and Dune colors had a circular telephoto camera instead of the traditional square-shaped periscope housing usually used for zoom lenses.

It's possible that Google used a design similar to Samsung's All Lenses on Prism technology on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. It should free up more physical space for a larger telephoto sensor within the same camera bump, bringing better zoom and low-light performance.

It's worth noting that the listings referenced Android 16 as the operating system, since Android 17 is in the works and set to ship as the default OS on many new lineups.

There's also a mention of a SIM ejector tool included in the box, although it's more likely an error than a clue to something new.

While we wait for the D-day, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL phones are being discounted ahead of the Pixel 11 launch. The Pixel 10 Pro drops from $999 to $699 with a $300 discount, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL drops from $1,199 to $949 with a $250 discount. The promotion ends on the 26th of this month.
