It's not often that we get to talk about a phone that features the holy trifecta of a removable battery, a 3.5mm audio jack, and support for MicroSD cards but here we are with TCL's affordable ION X handset. Now on sale at Metro by T-Mobile, the TCL ION X is priced at $119.
At $119 the ION X is a budget-minded handset. Powered by MediaTek's Helio G25 chipset with 3GB of RAM and a lowly 32GB of built-in storage, although you can add further storage via the included MicroSD card slot. There's a 6-inch display with 720p resolution and you'll find a 5MP selfie camera which is located on the top bezel above the display. A single rear camera with 13MP is present
The 3,000mAh battery is removable which means that you can replace it with a new battery if and when the capacity is downgraded with usage. One thing to keep in mind is that the ION X is limited to 4G/LTE connectivity.
