Nothing isn't launching its first smartphone in the US but if you've got a Galaxy S22 Ultra or Pixel 6 Pro on your hands you can make their rear panels look similar to the Phone (1) with the help of the ever subversive Dbrand. The skinning company has taken to copying the design of the Phone (1)'s snazzy rear panel, but only to the degree that it would be called “plagiarism”. The skin and case are called “Something”, and we've got more details for you after the break.
While Dbrand is currently only offering the “Something” for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Pixel 6 Pro, the iPhone 13 Pro Max, and the official Apple MagSafe Charger, The Verge reports that the skinning company plans to support other handsets as well as the Nintendo Switch in the future. Available as either a skin ($24.95) which is 0.23mm thin or as a bumper case ($49.90) with tactile buttons and military-grade impact protection, the Something may or may not be here for a long time depending on whether it receives a Cease & Desist letter from Nothing.
