LG Velvet and V60 owners can look forward to an update rolling out over the next days that will add support for Verizon's new Nationwide 5G network. The announcement comes after the carrier and Samsung enable access to the 5G network via a series of updates earlier this week.

Once your LG Velvet or V60 has received the update, it will then begin displaying a 5G logo whenever it's connected to one of Verizon's 5G transmitters. It should be noted that the 5G access is low-band 5G and not the carrier's 5G mmW, this is because the two phones are already able to access 5G mmW, and would therefore display a 5G UWB or 5G UW icon when connected to that particular signal.

LG says that the update will roll out over the next few days, so keep an eye out for a notification in the meantime.
