After a much-delayed announcement, Google finally launched the Pixel 4a on August 3rd and while Europe has to wait until September 10th for pre-orders to go live, the US has got first dibs on the new follow-up to the best-selling Pixel 3a. With pre-orders in the US said to start shipping from August 20th, it seems that the early-adopters may get their Pixel 4a a day or two earlier than envisaged.
According to Android Police, a couple of its readers have received notification that their respective Pixel 4a pre-orders are scheduled to arrive on either August 19th or 20th. And if that isn't quite early enough for you, another reader's pre-order is set to be delivered as early as today, but possibly tomorrow.

The 4a just came. It’s going to replace my Google Nexus 5X (which died and was resurrected).I also have a Pixel 3XL – so staying in the Google phone family. I hope everyone gets theirs soon – so fun doing the setup and exploring the device.
