Galaxy Tab S7

We at TalkSamsung TalkAndroid love writing about the world of Android and one of the biggest exponents of Google's Mobile OS is Samsung, an electronics company that sits at the top of the pile when it comes to global sales. Samsung has an absolute slew of new devices gearing up for launch in the next couple of weeks, culminating in the Unpacked event on August 5th where we expect to see the Galaxy Note 20 series, a new foldable smartphone, and the new Galaxy Buds Live unveiled.

One device that we know is incoming but aren't entirely sure when is the Galaxy Tab S7, a device that I wrongly (as it turned out) criticized because it was rumored to feature slow-as-mud charging. A bunch more details on the Galaxy Tab S7's specifications list leaked earlier today, so join us after the break for the rundown.

According to Pricebaba and the leaker known as Ishan Agarwal, the Galaxy Tab S7 will be powered by the normal Snapdragon 865, and not the Plus variant that is believed to be the processor chosen for the Galaxy Tab S7+. In all fairness, the SD865 is a powerhouse, and the difference shouldn't be noticeable to most users.

Believed to sport a massive 11-inch AMOLED display with 2,560 x 1600 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, the Tab S7 would be a nice bump in specs from the Galaxy Tab S6. The battery also sees a rise in capacity over its predecessor, going from 7,040mAh to 8,000mAh. The tablet is also said to feature 128GB of built-in storage along with MicroSD card support, a single 13MP rear camera, an 8MP selfie camera, as well well as quadruple speakers courtesy of AKG.

The Galaxy Tab S7 has the following dimensions: 165.3 x 253.8 x 6.3mm and it weighs in at 498g. So it's going to be extremely thin as well as heavy.

As you might expect, there's no word on pricing or availability at this point, but I'm sure it won't be long until either Samsung announces the Galaxy Tab S7 or one of the industrious leakers finds out for us.
