Google Assistant

Almost a year after its somewhat delayed appearance on the Google Assistant, which was almost a year after it was first announced back at Google I/O 2018, John Legend's voice is set to disappear into the sunset from the service.

So, if your idea of a perfect virtual assistant is Google Assistant replying to your queries in John legend's voice, you may want to start thinking of an alternative arrangement such as enabling the other celebrity voice (Issa Rae) that is available. To do this you just need to issue the following command to Google Assistant:

Hey Google, talk like Issa

You can also change the voice from within the Google Home app. Issa's voice will respond to you for a limited number of requests with other inquiries being handled by Google Assistant's usual voice.
