
The Honor V series of phones are typically a pretty aggressive upper-midrange family of devices that get a global release each year. They deliver almost top-end hardware at pricing that makes even OnePlus sweat, but there's a road bump in that launch this year.
New phones, no Google Play
The line has been refreshed with the Honor V30 and V30 Pro with some pretty serious performance, but since Huawei technically makes these, you guessed it; no Google Play here. Honor is still affected by the trade ban, which is going to be a massive headache for these otherwise usually successful phones.

Pricing on the View30 Pro starts at 3899 yuan for 8GB/128GB and jumps to 4199 yuan for 256GB of storage. The regular View30 costs 3299 yuan for 6GB/128GB or 3699 yuan for 8GB/128GB. Don't expect these to release outside of China, however, since they won't have the Play Store for app downloads.
