Huawei Mate 30 is 'going full circle' and is launching on September 19th 3

Huawei's latest flagship is officially confirmed to be only two weeks away, and it is set to debut Huawei's latest silicon and circular camera hardware.

Huawei's P-series has been seeing most of the spotlight for the company these days, however their true flagship full of all the features and the introducer of new technologies remains the company's Mate line of phones, and after a well-received but not particularly memorable Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X, Mate 20 Lite, and standard Mate 20, Huawei is gearing up to officially unveil the successor.

Announced via a Twitter teaser, Huawei's announcement video features a ‘fluffy' video which concludes with the official release date and confirmation of a particular design decision…

The Mate 30 series has been leaked extensively at this point, and we already know it will feature a circular rear camera housing, contrasted against the square shape of yesteryear, and a notched display despite the industry's wide trend away from the intrusion over the last year; the official announcement above confirms the circular camera housing, which I am personally looking forward to.

We'll also be seeing Huawei's latest silicon in the Mate 30, and I'm hoping that the Kirin 990 is more impressive than the somewhat disappointing Kirin 980 and very disappointing Kirin 970; given it's almost certain that the Kirin 990 will be using ARM's latest and indubitably greatest Cortex-A77 architecture, though, so it should be a metaphorical screamer.

We only need to wait a couple of weeks to get all the details, though, so stay tuned!
