OxygenOS update begins rolling out to the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T 3

OnePlus has released an update to OxygenOS, which is beginning its rollout to OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T users over the air. This update brings the software to version 5.1.4 with a few tweaks and enhancements for a better experience. It's also a security patch, so you can sleep a little easier at night knowing your device is more secure.

In addition to the July security patch, the new software features new sleep standby optimizations for better battery life, plus group messaging in the stock app.

  • Added sleep standby optimization (Settings -> Battery -> Battery optimization -> Advanced optimization -> Sleep standby optimization)
