Earlier today we reported on news that surfaced indicating LG was planning to make a big push to get the forthcoming LG G6 to market before the Samsung Galaxy S8. Following that news, a render believed to show the new LG G6 was discovered and shared by Shai Mizrachi.

The render comes with some dimension information, which tells us that the new LG G6 will be a little bit slimmer than the predecessor LG G5, coming in at 72.4mm versus 73.9mm. Mizrachi also notes the thickness of the device varies from the bottom to the top, going from 7.6mm to 8.4mm.

Otherwise, the design appears to be very similar to the G5. One thing that is still uncertain is whether LG is going to stick with the modular design of the G5 and the variety of add-on modules. One option for the company, which did not see the success it was hoping for with the G5's modular design, would be to stick with a removable battery like it did for the LG V20.

We still wait for word to start leaking out about possible hardware specs for the LG G6 and any unique features LG has cooking in hopes of distinguishing their next flagship device.
