Stitcher is getting a change of scenery for the second time since October 2014.

After staying under the watch of Deezer for less than two years, Stitcher is on the move once again to a bigger home that really cares about podcasts. The E.W. Scripps Company is spending $4.5 million on Stitcher to fold the service into Midroll Media, its podcast-centric arm.

Midroll Media, the unit where Stitcher will be housed under, sells advertisements for almost 250 podcasts worldwide from the biggest names in the business. E.W. Scripps actually purchased that company in 2015 for $50 million.

Stitcher's loyal listeners have nothing to worry about as E.W. Scripps isn't shutting down the service or overhauling it anytime soon:

“For Stitcher listeners, it’s business as usual. You’ll continue to have access to the world’s best audio through our apps and we are excited about innovations we have planned for you this year. For our advertisers and content partners, we look forward to sharing an expanded portfolio of opportunities to help you reach the audiences you’re seeking. Stay tuned!”

The E.W. Scripps Copmany is the former parent of HGTV, Food Network, DIY Network, Cooking Channel, and Travel Channel. Its cable arm was spun off in 2008 into its own company called Scripps Network Interactive. There was also a newspaper arm, but that was dumped when Gannet (USA Today‘s owner) and Journal Communications welcomed traditional print media assets in a lucrative merger. Now E.W. Scripps currently owns a bunch of television and radio stations throughout the United States.

Don't forget that you can subscribe and listen to the Talk Android Podcast on services including Stitcher.
