If you happen to have a Verizon LTE device and want to get hooked up with a prepaid plan from Straight Talk, you are in luck as the carrier is starting to take SIM card orders for Verizon devices. The addition of Verizon LTE devices as an option for Straight Talk customers should not be too big a surprise since Straight Talk is a Verizon MVNO.

SIM cards for Verizon devices run only $6.99. Straight Talk will not be shipping the new SIM cards for at least a couple weeks while they wait for them to be delivered before they can ship them to their customers. Straight Talk's primary plan for smartphones runs $45 per month and includes unlimited talk, text and 3 GB of data. Straight Talk does throttle data speeds once customers hit 3 GB of data, bringing the speed down to only 64 kbps.
