The Big Android BBQ team has announced the keynote speakers for this year's event. They are Reto Meier and Timothy Jordan from Google and they are scheduled to speak on the evolution of Android from its early days as a mobile platform to the current push into wearables. Reto Meier is with the Scalable Develop Advocacy team with Google's Developer Relations branch. A Senior Developer Advocate, Timothy Jordan comes from Google's Google Glass and Android Wear team.

According to the folks from the Big Android BBQ, Google's participation is a sign of the events growth since 2009. They indicate having a pair from Google to give the keynote is not the only involvement from Google this year. You will have to wait for them to make more announcements over the weekend though to find out just what else they have in store for attendees.
