Microsoft Targets Huawei For Android Profits

Microsoft continues to find new ways to make money. As if the side change Microsoft currently makes off Android wasn’t enough, they are squaring their sights on a new target. Chinese manufacturer Huawei announced at a London event that ”Microsoft has come to us”. In addition, Chief Marketing Officer Victor Xu goes even further by confirming that “negotiations are in progress”, meaning Huawei will soon be added to the growing list of companies paying licensing fees to Redmond’s giant.

Microsoft sure knows how to take advantage of a good thing. Considering that upcoming mouth-watering tablet Huawei is coming up with, it’s easy to see why Microsoft would want to sink in on potentially new profits. Here’s hoping that little purchase of Motorola Mobility by Google helps Android manufacturers fight back against Microsoft sooner than later.
