The next big smartphone might be coming on August 9th in the form of the Galaxy Note 9 from Samsung, but that's not to say that we can't get excited about Google's next smartphone too. These leaked images show off an alleged Pixel 3 XL in its Clearly White color scheme.

As you can see from the image above of the handset's rear panel, the placement of the camera, flash, fingerprint reader, and logo match up with what we expect the Pixel 3 XL to look like, but that's not to say that the design could change somewhat in the months between now and its presumed October launch.

The images are courtesy of XDA member, dr.guru, and they also show the front of the phone which confirms the presence of a rather large notch as well as a pair of front-facing speakers. Unlike previous Pixel phones, the Pixel 3 is widely believed to feature wireless charging this time around with the source of the leak saying that the rear panel is entirely made of glass, unlike the Pixel 2 XL with its glass and metal design.

Besides the obvious, the fastboot sequence reveals that the device in question is going under the ‘crosshatch' moniker and has 4GB of RAM with 64GB of UFS internal storage.

What do you think of the alleged Pixel 3 XL? Are you upset by the presence of a notch or does the possible presence of wireless charging ease the pain? Let us know in the comments below.
