You can now pre-register for ‘Super Mario Run’ on Google Play

Android users who are looking forward to picking up the latest Mario game from Nintendo can now pre-register for Super Mario Run on Google Play.

Details after the break.

Right now there's no specific date for Super Mario Run to launch on Android — the only information that we have is that it will launch on Android in 2017. Nintendo announced the game way back in September for iOS, with it launching three months later on the platform.

With Nintendo opening up pre-registration for Android now, we could see the same time window, with the game officially launching in three months time.

Super Mario Run has soared past 40 million downloads, despite the game being exclusively available on iOS. With all the excitement around the game, it'll easily garner a few million more upon its launch on Android.
