Lenovo debuts the HasselBlad True Zoom, a $300 Moto Mod for better camera functionality


Lenovo today at IFA in Berlin, Germany announced the HasselBlad True Zoom, a $300 Moto Mod intended to improve the Moto Z’s camera functionality.

With the Hasselblad True Zoom, Moto Z series owners will be able to enhance their smartphone with state-of-the-art camera technology in an instant. With 10x optical zoom and Xenon flash, you’ll be able to capture beautiful moments with ease.

You’ll also be able to shoot in RAW format and have access to a physical shutter button and zoom controls. Any HasselBlad True Zoom owners will get access to HasselBlad’s Phocus software for photo editing as well. As an added bonus, you’ll be able to save photos in their original quality with unlimited storage to Google Photos for two years.

Moto Z series owners will be able to pick up the HasselBlad True Zoom in September. In the US, pre-orders open on September 8 with an official launch set for September 15. This Moto Mod will set you back $250 from Verizon or a whopping $300 straight from Motorola.com.
