Favorite game:  Robo Defense

Robo Defense is a tower-defense type game. The basic point is to use guns, cannons, lasers, rockets, slow down, teleporters and anti-aircraft weapons to keep surges of enemy forces from crossing the playing field. Each level can be played at multiple difficulties, and consists of 100 enemy surges. You can also upgrade life and weapons with money that you gain while playing. I love this game because of the level of strategy it requires. One nice aspect is that it keeps your save game info on the sd card, so even if you do a complete wipe of your phone, your saved games will still be there when you reinstall. It's also relatively non-violent (no blood or gore), so even my 6 year old loves to play it with me.

Favorite game: Angry Birds

This game really needs no introduction, but for those of you who have been living under a rock, Angry Birds is a strategy game that requires you to break through a series of obstacles to destroy the enemy pigs using several different projectile birds. You get a basic bird, a bird that can rapidly accelerate when you tap it again, one that shoots off into three smaller birds, and one that blows up like a bomb. You launch the birds out of a giant slingshot, and you have to break through things like wood, ice, and stone blocks. The main objective is to destroy all the enemies before you run out of birds, but there's an extra challenge to try and accomplish it with as few birds as possible to try and get the highest score possible.

Favorite game: Abduction!

Abduction! is a game where you must continually make your cow character jump higher and higher to get to the UFO that your friends have been abducted by. The game encourages you to pick up gift boxes and fellow cows parachuting downward for points/extra lives. For those who are making the switch from iPhone to Android, this game is a similar to DoodleJump. I like this game because it makes good use of the accelerometer and has many different levels and difficulties to choose from. Plus, it's super addicting! I'd definitely recommend this game as well as Abduction 2!

Favorite game: Bubble Defense 2

Bubble defense 2 is a game of weapon and tower defense strategy. It's got many different levels, each with its own unique strategy in play, along with difficulty options. Highly addictive! I love this game because its a new challenge, each level combined with each difficulty setting. I love a good challenge! Worth every penny for the upgrade.

  1. @Scaine Thanks!

Add to that Air Control, Armored Strike, Bonsai Blast, Cestos, EVAC, Frozen Bubble, Lava Ball

  2. Agree with Dave. More variety would be good. Big list of games out there that deserve to be played.

Here’s a few. SpiderMan, PaperToss, Shoot U!, Newton, Space Physics, Crusade of Destiny, Raging Thunder, Everlands, Trap!, Super Tumble, Battlefloor.

  3. I would like to see the staff help introduce us to the hidden gems. Mainstream games like the ones above are great for a new users to know about and I agree they are fun.

Tell me something I don’t know, it is much appreciated and why I read the blog.

Keep up the great work, love the site.
