The days of needing dual instances of WhatsApp to manage different accounts could soon be behind us according to a report that the messaging app could soon gain multi-account support. This comes after multi-device support rolled out just a few weeks ago making it possible to use the same WhatsApp account on up to four different devices, simultaneously.
According to WABetaInfo, support for multiple accounts was spotted in beta version 2.23.13.5 of the WhatsApp Business app. Users will be able to select which account they want to log into, which means that they could manage both personal and business accounts in the same app instead of hoping their smartphone supports dual apps. This feature would appear to be coming to WhatsApp Messenger in the future with WABetaInfo saying they there are no indications that it will be exclusive to the Business app.
Hopefully WhatsApp don't sleep on rolling the multi-account feature out to all instances of the messaging app. Is it something that would be useful for you? Let us know in the comments below.
