It's official: the new K-drama The WONDERfools has arrived on Netflix. The series features an all-star cast, with Park Eun Bin and Cha Eun Woo taking center stage.

A Superpowered Throwback

The story transports viewers back to 1999, into a quiet neighborhood where four ordinary neighbors suddenly gain extraordinary powers. Together, they form TEAM WONDERfools, combining their strengths to protect the city of Haeseong from sinister forces. Expect a blend of Korean drama, superhuman abilities, and plenty of '90s nostalgia.

Casting Magic

Park Eun Bin plays Eun Chae Ni, while Cha Eun Woo takes on the role of Lee Woon Jung. They're joined by Choi Dae Hoon as Son Kyung Hoon and Lim Sung Jae as Kang Ro Bin. This marks a reunion for Park Eun Bin and director Yoo In Sik, who previously worked together on the breakout hit Extraordinary Attorney Woo.

A Comeback After Headlines

The show launched shortly after headlines about Cha Eun Woo resolving a significant tax issue. According to reports, he paid over 13 billion won (about $9.1 million) to settle the matter. Now, however, the focus is back on his screen performance.

Mark Your Calendars

The WONDERfools premiered on Netflix on May 15. Get ready for an action-packed adventure full of humor, superpowers, and retro vibes. Just press play and enjoy the ride.
