It was only days ago that the Kindsuit cases for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 leaked, hinting at a naming mix-up on the device's packaging. Now Android Headlines has gotten an exclusive first look at a much broader collection for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8. All foldable phones are expected to launch at the London Galaxy Unpacked event in late July.
It's raining Samsung cases, so take cover
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is a direct successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Its case lineup includes the usual silicone and clear plastic shell options that have become standard across recent Fold generations.
New this year are aramid fiber versions with tightly woven diagonal patterns. The weaves give them a textured, almost fabric-like finish rather than the smooth, glossy look of plastic or glass. The cases will also feature built-in kickstands and support wireless charging.

Aramid fiber is generally considered a premium material in the case market, and third-party aramid cases for the Z Fold 7 from brands like Thinborne and RAPTIC are usually around a $40 to $60 range. It's possible they'll cost more than the basic silicone or clear options.
The Z Fold 8’s cases mirror much of what is offered for the Ultra. However, Samsung reshaped them to fit the wider profile of the device. There are also clear shell cases featuring artist-designed prints from Esther Kim, Joker, and Kakao Corp.
In particular, Kakao Corp the company behind KakaoTalk, South Korea's dominant messaging platform, along with a broad portfolio spanning games, music, and media businesses.

There do not appear to be any aramid fiber cases for the Z Flip 8. But the lineup includes silicone cases and the same clear shells with artistic designs like the Z Fold 8.
The silicone cases come in white and gray, and carry over the built-in ring on the Z Flip 7 that lets you hang the device from a bag or strap.
Kindsuits have also been spotted
Days before this broader case lineup surfaced, the Kindsuit cases for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra had already leaked, though they were not up for sale yet.
The earlier leak revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 box was labeled “Galaxy New Fold”, while the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra box was labeled “Galaxy Z Fold 8,” sparking confusion over what Samsung is planning to call the phones.

Before then, the Fold 8 Wide with the larger screen was renamed to the Fold 8, making it the new standard option. The original base Fold 8 was rebranded as the Fold 8 Ultra we know now, despite not being a new device tier built from the ground up to justify its name.
The Kindsuit Case for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 surfaced in six colors, while the Z Fold 8 Ultra's version also appeared in six, including purple, black, brown, orange, white, and blue. Last year's Kindsuit Case for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 retailed at $99.
The Kindsuit cases would likely be within the same $99 to $100 range, though Ultra-tier cases have occasionally carried slightly premium prices in past generations.
