All the rave has been about Samsung’s S26 series lately. But let’s not forget that the brand has built just as much of its reputation on the strength of its mid-range lineup. The Galaxy A57 recently surfaced in a premature retail listing, revealing official-looking renders and hinting that its launch may be just around the corner. Here are the specifications.
Galaxy A57 is on the way
According to SammyGuru, an European online retailer accidentally published the product page for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A57 before the phone was officially announced.
The page briefly showed the device from several angles, confirming a few design elements. The Galaxy A57 has a flat glass front display and three vertically aligned cameras on the back inside a pill-shaped module.

The power and volume buttons sit on a slightly raised frame section on the side of the phone. The renders also showed the device in the Awesome Charcoal color.
The body itself likely sits around 7mm thick, give or take a few tenths of a millimeter. One of the clues is the camera bump, which appears to extend roughly 2–2.5 mm beyond the frame.
The phone should feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and retain those dreadfully thick bezels. It'll use Samsung's Exynos 1680 chip paired with 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM, along with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

The camera setup should include a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro sensor. The selfie camera is around 12MP. Battery capacity is 5,000mAh with 45W wired fast charging support. The Galaxy A57 will ship with Android 16 running Samsung’s custom One UI 8.5 interface.
Galaxy A57 and A37 may launch this month
Samsung has not officially confirmed a launch date yet for the Galaxy A57. But leaks and historical release patterns point to this month (March 2026). It will come alongside the Galaxy A37, which is also in the works.
Evan Blass leaked a Vodacom (South African carrier) webpage days ago on X, and it shows a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro rear camera setup on the device. It has a 5,000mAh battery and dual-SIM support.
The A57 appears on a contract where the cost of the device is spread over time. Pricing starts around R429 (≈$26) per month for the model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It's spread out for 48 months. Meanwhile, the A37 listing shows R399 ($24) per month for the same model. It's spread out for 36 months.
Most phone contracts traditionally last 24 months. Some carriers extend them to 36 months. But 48 months means four years, and not many fans are happy about it. It's much higher than the likely retail price, which should be around $499–$529.
If you sign the A57 contract in 2026, you would still be paying for the same phone until 2030. By the time you're done, the software and hardware may feel outdated.
