T-Mobile has launched unadvertised plans, and is now selectively offering them to certain existing customers they think might leave them. Accounts are likely being picked based on conditions like how long you’ve been a customer, how many lines you have, your upgrade history, and whether your account shows churn risk.

If your account fits what they're looking for, the plan might appear when you talk to support. If it doesn’t, it won’t exist for you. It was only last month that T-Mobile released the Better Value plan, positioning it as a premium family option with long-term savings and a five-year price guarantee. It seems the carrier is really caving under pressure to prove their worth.

According to Android Headlines, who confirmed from internal sources, T-Mobile has already started rolling out their two new plans. The first plan the mobile carrier is offering is Experience More with Appreciation Savings.

It looks almost identical to a normal premium plan. You'll pay less every month on your first two lines. One line costs $75, two lines cost $120, and any additional lines cost the same as the regular Experience More plan.

However, they'll reduce your trade-in credits, which aligns with what T-Mobile usually offers on segmented or discounted plans such as 55+ or First Responder. That means you still get promos, just not the highest ones. This plan is also targeted. You need at least two years with T-Mobile, and only accounts flagged internally will be eligible.

The second plan is Loyalty, and is more aggressive for large family plans. Two lines cost $120, but lines three through eight cost $12 each. The cons include high-speed data being capped at 50GB.

Hotspot data, too, will drop to unlimited but slow 3G speeds. Meanwhile, high-speed Canada and Mexico data is gone, and bundled subscriptions like Netflix or Apple TV are gone. More importantly, the five-year price guarantee does not apply. The trade-in promos still exist, but like the first plan, they’re targeted.

If you’re eligible, you should see the new plans appear in the T-Life app under Change Plan. However, there are not many savings to be expected, even if the offers seem glamorous. The only savings are on your first two lines.

Since trade-in credits are reduced, that means there's less value when upgrading phones. If you're already paying for all lines, this plan doesn’t significantly reduce your bill.

T-Mobile’s Better Value plan launched last month in January as a bundled, premium family plan. It provides unlimited premium 5G data on every line and is designed for households that stream heavily, travel, tether devices frequently, and don’t want to think about add-ons each month.

The plan also includes an unusually large pool of high-speed hotspot data per line. You can tether laptops, tablets, or other devices freely, and when you hit the high-speed limit, the connection merely slows down.

When you travel abroad, you’ll get a sizable amount of high-speed data in over 200 countries before speeds slow down.

Netflix and Hulu are included at no extra cost, and Apple TV can be added cheaply at $3. Additionally, satellite connectivity enables basic texting and limited data access via optimized apps.

Better Value is priced at $140 per month for three lines with AutoPay, which is roughly $46 per line, not including taxes and fees. The plan isn’t available to single-line users, so you must have at least two lines to qualify, whether you’re a long-time T-Mobile customer or signing up for the first time. It isn’t targeted and is now widely available to customers.
