I've always maintained that there's not a single person who is opposed to the beauty of a good deal on a product that they really want. In fact, some deals are sweet enough to make you consider something that you don't even need. One of the best times of the year to peruse a multitude of great savings is whenever Amazon chooses to host Prime Day.

The good thing is that we know Prime Day is closing in on us, and this year, it'll be taking place next month. However, what makes it really special this time around is that Prime Day will be twice as long as usual. Instead of two days, like in 2024, this year will bring Prime Day for a total of 4 days. No one will object to that.

This year, get your wallet primed (no pun intended) and ready for Prime Day 2025. Amazon has just announced that its yearly savings-packed event will be taking place next month, from July 8th to 11th, making for a total of four days of deals. For full reference, last year's Prime Day was only two days long, so doubling that is a welcome change for many people.

This might be something of a mini-celebration for Prime Day's 10th anniversary, considering that the first edition of the event was in July 2015 (and actually came about to celebrate the 20th birthday of Amazon).

Of course, there's no point in getting too excited about buying that brand-new smartphone on Prime Day if you're not even subscribed to Amazon Prime. That's the most notable prerequisite for being able to take advantage of the sweet deals that the four-day span is going to deliver to us. However, you might be a little unaware of the pricing. Fortunately, I wouldn't call it unreasonable.

    Amazon PrimePrice (USD)
    Monthly$14.99
    Annual$139
Prime Access (on qualifying government assistance)$6.99 monthly
    Prime Student (18-24 years old/college students)$7.49 monthly/$69 annually

As a regular user, especially one who has never used Amazon Prime before, you may be given the chance for a 30-day free trial. Even if you opt into it right now, it'll cover you over the days for Prime Day this year. Students can also get a six-month trial for Prime Student. It wouldn't hurt to put that prospective subscription fee towards purchases.
