Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 10 in Paris, starting at 6 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST). Samsung is expected to unveil its latest Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 smartphones, as well as their first Galaxy Ring. Galaxy AI is also taking center stage as the company has done well to tease it in the announcement video.
Hopefully, we'll see more features added alongside Circle to Search and others introduced on the Galaxy S24. To keep fans excited, they're giving away $50 credit to anyone who reserves any new device before the event. The credits apply towards purchases on Samsung’s website and app.
Awesome deals to be unpacked at Samsung's upcoming event
We now have thrice the confirmation as Samsung has announced the date for their next Unpacked event. They made the invitation public in a blog post, and mentioned live streaming the event if you can't make it. The footage will be available on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel.
From now until July 10, the company is running a special promotion that means you can reserve one of the new Galaxy devices on their official website. If you need a hint, they include the earlier leaked Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 foldables and the first Galaxy Ring. But Samsung hasn't made any comments on the gadgets to be showcased.
You'll receive an instant $50 Samsung Credit to buy anything, which is an offer you want to jump on. Considering how expensive Samsung devices are, saving every dollar matters.
The credit will automatically apply when you use the same email address for the reservation and pre-order. You can't transfer the credit, and it's limited to one per purchase. It will apply to the first device you add to your cart. If you return that device, you lose the $50 credit. So, you need to think about this part carefully.
Save up to $1500 and win $5000 more
As part of Samsung's Unpacked event promotion, you can save up to $1,500 when you pre-order a new device. You may be charmed to think you could simply place a pre-order, cancel it, and still get the $1,500 savings. But you actually need to buy the device to get the credit. If you return it, you lose the credit.
Separate from that offer is another one where you can win a $5,000 virtual gift card if you simply reserve any eligible Galaxy device between now and July 10. Reservation alone qualifies you to enter the sweepstakes for the money. Around July 15, Samsung will randomly select one Grand Prize winner from the eligible entries.
Tempting as it gift card value is, you can't trade, substitute, or get cash for the prize unless the Sponsor decides otherwise. If they do allow it, you'll get a replacement prize of equal or greater value. Accept the prize and you give the sponsors permission to use your name and likeness for advertising without paying you more, unless the law says they can't. It's not surprising, as brands will leap on any advantage to push their products forward.
Conditions for entering Samsung sweepstakes
Of course, there are rules that make Samsung's sweepstakes harder than it sounds. You need to be a legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Also, you must be 18 years old. The sweepstakes started at 7 PM Eastern Time (ET) on June 25, 2024. It will end at 6 AM Pacific Time (PT) on July 10, 2024.
Samsung may offer promotional discounts asides the aforementioned deals. However, you must first spend at least $500 to qualify. Plus, the discounts are only for direct consumers. Business customer accounts cannot participate or receive them. If you haven't already, make your reservations now.
