All Tarisland Classes (Who to Pick?)

PVP Ranking: A
Hunting icon - Tarisland
Ranger [Hunting]
PVE Ranking: A
PVP Ranking: S

Role/s: DPS

Why Pick Ranger?

The Ranger class is one of the best DPS classes in Tarisland, and not only that, but they also have mobility skills that they can take advantage of to evade enemies, which more than compensates for their low tankiness.

The Ranger class has a low skill ceiling, making it one of the more beginner-friendly classes in the game.

Paladin

Paladin [Guard]

PVE Ranking: A
PVP Ranking: B

Roles: DPS, Tank, Support

Why Pick Paladin?

Paladins make for fantastic tanks in both PVE and PVP game modes, as they have several survivability-boosting skills (mainly Shields) for both their teammates as well as self-healing.

The only catch is that while the Paladin class's early game DPS output is quite decent, it falls off considerably later on, so your playstyle will be limited to pure tanking only in more advanced game modes.

Warrior

PVP Ranking: A
War Shield icon - Tarisland
Warrior [War Shield]

PVE Ranking: A
PVP Ranking: B

Roles: DPS, Tank, Support

Why Pick Warrior?

The Warrior class is a bruiser-type class that can both deal fantastic damage and tank considerable amounts of punishment, given their skill kit and stat allocations offer players a fairly balanced DPS and Tanking ability.

The best specialization for the Warrior class, however, is arguably the War Shield specialization, which is highly useful for game modes like Dungeons, Raids, or mass-PVP where their incredible survivability shines the most.

Mage

Mage [Flame]

Role: DPS

Why Pick Mage?

If you're a fan of dealing tons of AoE magic damage and a high-risk, high-reward playstyle, then the Mage class is for you. Their limitations are more on the user side, as when played correctly, they can absolutely dominate the DPS rankings with their high-damage skill kit.

Again, do note the Mages have a high skill ceiling due to their low survivability, so you'll have to find a reliable tank to fully unleash their damage-dealing prowess in both PVE and PVP game modes.

Priest

Specializations

Priest [Faith]
PVE Ranking: B
PVP Ranking: C
Pray icon - Tarisland
Priest [Pray]
PVE Ranking: A
PVP Ranking: B

Roles: DPS, Support

Why Pick Priest?

The Priest class should be your go-to class if you want to focus on a playstyle that involves mass healing and giving your allies buffs. Their Pray specialization is especially invaluable for team-up game modes where a good deal of status buffs can vastly improve runs.

The only thing you have to watch out for while playing as a Priest is that their survivability is very low, as they don't have much self-sustain on their kit.

Moreover, their Faith specialization is too lacking as a DPS (at least compared to other pure DPS classes), so you might have to go all-in as a pure healer/support if you want to tackle harder game modes.

Bard

Bard [Harmony]

PVP Ranking: A

Roles: DPS, Support

Why Pick Bard?

The Bard class is for players who want to spec on a true dual-role class, as they are among the very few classes in Tarisland that can excel both as a DPS and Support.

Bards are truly the “swiss army knife” class, as they can do just about anything except for pure tanking. They have excellent DPS for their Solo specialization, as well as great self-healing, AoE healing, and status buffs with their Harmony specialization.

Barbarian Fighter

PVE Ranking: B
PVP Ranking: B

Roles: DPS, Tank

Why Pick Barbarian Fighter?

If you want to be able to tank reliably all while dealing tons of AoE and single-target Damage, then the Barbarian Fighter will do all those for you, with it being arguably the best bruiser-type class in Tarisland.

The Barbarian Fighter class's damage mitigation makes them nigh-unkillable in both PVE and PVP, so much so that you can survive with minimal healing from your supports as long as you dodge telegraphed attacks.

Barbarian Fighter is also among the best classes in Tarisland for beginners, as they can sometimes take the lead in DPS rankings in the early to mid-game stages in addition to being able to take on a lot of enemy attacks by themselves.

Shadow Swordsman

PVE Ranking: B
PVP Ranking: A
Duel icon - Tarisland
Shadow Swordsman [Duel]
PVE Ranking: A
PVP Ranking: S

Role: DPS

Why Pick Shadow Swordsman?

The Shadow Swordsman class is designed specifically for players who want to spec on an assassin-type class whose kit mostly consists of terrific single-target burst damage and evasion skills for managing aggro.

Shadow Swordsmen excel in PVP game modes and, though not as good as the top-tier PVE DPS classes, is still a pretty solid class for PVE game modes.

The Shadow Swordsman class has a moderately high skill ceiling because of their lack of tankiness, however, so you'll have to be able to manage aggro well in order to make them work.

Phantom Necro

PVE Ranking: B
PVP Ranking: C
Soul Healing icon - Tarisland
Phantom Necro [Soul Healing]

PVE Ranking: A
PVP Ranking: S

Role: DPS, Support

Why Pick Phantom Necro?

The Phantom Necro class is reserved for players who strive to play a difficult class and find ways to make them viable. If this sounds like you, then choose Phantom Necro, as this class has limited DPS potential in exchange for their excellent performance as a support (if you manage to play them optimally).

Despite the Phantom Necro class's high skill ceiling and being arguably the worst DPS class for PVE game modes, their potential as the best healer in PVP game modes alone makes them worthwhile to play.

Best Class for Beginners (Tarisland's Easiest Classes)

Best Beginner Tarisland Classes

Barbarian Fighter [Thunder]

Ranger [Tamed Beast]
Rage icon - Tarisland
Warrior [Rage]

Bard [Solo]

The best classes for beginners in Tarisland are as follows:

  • Barbarian Fighter [Thunder]
  • Warrior [Rage]
  • Ranger [Tamed Beast]
  • Bard [Solo]

All of these classes have low to moderate skill ceilings, making them the best choices for players

The Warrior and Barbarian Fighter classes, in particular, are fantastic classes to start with if you want to have a smooth-sailing early game as well as great late-game potential, given their ability to dual-role as bruiser-type characters.

For pure DPS fans, we recommend picking Ranger, as the class being a ranged type will put them mostly out of harm's way, allowing you to focus on dealing damage without making use of any fancy evasive mechanics or managing aggro that much compared to other top-tier DPS classes.

Meanwhile, the Bard class is excellent for players who want to swap between being support and DPS depending on the game mode they want to tackle, as well as excel in solo game modes compared to other support units like Priest or Phantom Necro.

Are Classes Locked in Tarisland?

Unfortunately, there are currently no available methods of changing your class in Tarisland. You'll have to make another account or a separate character on another server to spec on a different class.
