From the offset, Legend of Mushroom‘s Mounts might seem limited to aesthetics and basic stat bonuses, but they can actually help you collect passive resources and materials too.

Enter the Parking Wars; it's the final mode introduced in the Manor. There are quite a few things to learn about it, so buckle up!

How To Play Parking Wars

In Legend of Mushroom, you access the Parking Wars by entering the Manor section. Once there, it's located directly between the Tech Park and the Dormitory.

Parking Wars offers different Mount-related activities to be played, each being:

Parking Mounts for rewards

In Parking Wars, your main priority is to get as many rewards from leaving your Mounts at specified parking spots.

You can park your Mounts at different parking areas but only one (1) Mount is allowed to be left at any parking spot per person/ instance (meaning you need to place your other Mounts at other players' parking spots respectively).

There are three (3) types of parking spaces:

  • Personal parking space
    • This is your very own parking area where you can place one (1) Mount to get their AFK rewards later.
    • You can also choose a Mount to be remodeled, essentially leveling them up to enhance their stat bonuses (requires Remodeling Guides that are explained later under the sub-topic, Parking Currencies).
  • Other players' parking areas (friends, enemies, etc.)
    • For your other Mounts available, you can then leave them at other players' parking sections instead.
    • Only one (1) Mount is allowed to be parked per player's parking space, so you'll be leaving your Mounts at different people's parking areas.
    • Each home player can impose a parking fee to share a percentage of your accumulated Parking Coins while protecting your Mount in return (against other people plundering it).
    • Parking owners can apply additional benefits/ reward buffs if they have Decorations up, so parking spots that have them are more likely to be contested/ cost higher parking fees.
  • Public parking spots
    • Public parking spots are readily available for everyone to access, yielding better idle rewards.
    • Due to their free pass, you risk being attacked the most when parking at public parking slots, but gaining more resources if your Shroomie is already super strong.

Each Mount offers different potential rewards for you to collect. However, they must be parked for exactly eight (8) hours to have the best chance of getting the most gains.

More time parked after eight (8) hours will not yield extra rewards (leaving your Mount vulnerable to plundering for no extra benefits), so Parking Wars is Legend of Mushroom‘s most time-conscious mode yet!

Parking Currencies

Parking Wars utilizes two (2) distinct currencies not used anywhere else. They are:

  • Parking Coins
    • Parking Coins are the standard currencies required for purchasing Auto Mart (Shop) items.
    • Parking Coins are collected after claiming each Mount's parking rewards, besides providing parking spaces for other players' Mounts.
  • Remodeling Guide
    • Remodeling Guides are an exclusive Parking Wars currency used for leveling your chosen Mount (Mount Remodeling).
    • They can only be bought from the Auto Mart (Shop), costing 5,000 Parking Coins each (a maximum of 5 Remodeling Guides sold daily).

So, you'll need Parking Coins for everything in Parking Wars, whereas Remodeling Guides are only required for improving the Mount designated at the Mount Remodeling slot.

Plundering other players' parked Mounts

You can also battle players in Parking Wars to steal some of their parked Mounts' collected Parking Coins. You do this by clicking on a player's Mount at a parking spot before choosing “Plunder” from the option provided.

After successfully plundering a player's Mount, they are forced to vacate the parking slot, leaving it open for a new Mount to be parked.

As the attacker, upon a victory, you'll receive a debuff for the next 30 minutes. More debuff stacks are added upon further wins, with each new stack resetting the 30-minute timer.

If you fail a plunder attempt, you'll be blocked from doing so for the next 15 minutes. Every successful plunder adds to the failed timer's cooldown, e.g. failing your third (3rd) plunder after winning twice results in a 45-minute failure cooldown before being able to attack again.

As such, while you can plunder other players' Mounts indefinitely, these restrictions balance things out to ensure a healthy Parking Wars environment overall.

Offering parking spots to other players

As a parking space owner, you also have the authority to manage it as you see fit.

You can leave your parking area open for anyone to park their Mounts (you passively receive a small amount of Parking Coins), restrict its access entirely, or charge a small Parking Coin fee for using a parking spot (charged at the end of a parking session).

Plus, you can even plunder those parked in your parking spaces without suffering any consequences (debuff, etc.). That being said, this would discourage others from visiting your space, which isn't ideal for you in the long run.

Decorating the parking place

To make your parking lots more appealing to other players, installing Decorations adds different positive effects, such as increased Parking Coins or a percentage Defense bonus.

This encourages you to gather more Parking Coins per day because Decorations are only acquired by purchasing them from the Auto Mart/ Shop.

You have multiple choices for Decorations, each separated into different groups:

  • Gate
  • Scene
  • Fence
  • Streetlamp

Decorations are extremely expensive, though, so you better start saving those Parking Coins right now!

Purchasing items from the Auto Mart/ Shop

As shared earlier, the Auto Mart (Shop) is where you purchase all the important items for improving your parking area, upgrading your chosen remodeled Mount, and more.

Unlike other Legend of Mushroom systems, Diamonds are useless here, meaning everyone has to farm those Parking Coins if they want to succeed.

Summarily, these are the three (3) categories of items sold in the Auto Mart:

  • Remodeling Guides
    • Buy Remodeling Guides to enhance your remodeled Mount's level.
  • Manor buffs
    • Various boosters are sold here, ranging from instantaneous 1-hour AFK reward to 50% more Fruit Offerings harvested.
  • Decorations
    • All Parking Wars Decorations are sold at high prices here.

What Is Parking Wars?

Although many game modes are already available, Legend of Mushroom doesn't explore Mounts quite as much. Hence, the latest Parking Wars is a way to make them more viable, implementing different mechanics for you to have fun with them.

Changes in Parking Wars don't impact your character's best builds directly, but they do let you use all your unlocked Mounts to the full, instead of leaving those you obtained previously as just a showcase (nobody uses the Quack Splash when they have the Flyboard already).

Some of them can even get you invaluable loot, like Red Pals (Legendary tier), among their idle rewards, making Parking Wars a worthy time investment!
