In a move that will please its fans, popular podcast app Pocket Casts is now available for Wear OS smartwatches, albeit in beta form only at this point. Still, the means that Wear OS watches from the likes of Google, Samsung, Mobvoi, and more can now download the Pocket Casts beta app from the Play Store.
The Pocket Casts beta seems to be compatible with both Wear OS 3.0 and previous versions, which means if you've got the TicWatch Pro 3 or similar then the app should will work for you. It would seem that the Pocket Casts Wear OS app is meant to be used independently of a smartphone which is good news for fitness fans.
If you subscribe to Pocket Casts Plus the Wear OS app will log in automatically if you have the app installed on your smartphone, which is a neat touch. In case you aren't aware, Pocket Casts Plus costs $4 monthly or $40 for a year's subscription for which you'll get access to features such as synced folders across devices, desktop apps, cloud storage, and exclusive themes and icons.
