If you've sat by and watched covetously as Google's Pixel phones got first dibs on the Android 14 Beta, your wait may be over thanks to several OEMs signing up to participate in the program. Depending on whether your phone is one of the chosen ones, you can install the beta firmware on your handset to see what Android 14 has in store, albeit in a non-stable format.
Before we go further, it should be noted that OEM-beta releases do not follow Google's schedule regarding updates. Some OEMs may not provide an update on the initial Android 14 beta build before its stable release is ready, which could be a few months. They may also not provide a rollback option, which means you could be stuck on the Android 14 beta until the stable build is made available. What this means is, it's probably a bad idea to install a beta build on your primary device.
