[Updated with EU Pricing] Check out these leaked renders of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra

As it turns out, we've already seen a leaked render of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra but today there are new images of the foldable available which reveal a whole lot more. While we don't have exact details on when Motorola plans to launch its new range of Razr clamshells, it's beginning to look like the waiting period might be a few weeks as opposed to months.

Updated April 27: Thanks to SamInsider, we now have details on how much the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will cost over in Euroland. The leaked info reveals that Motorola's Razr 40 Ultra in 8/256GB configuration will cost €1,202 in Europe which translates to around $965. The post goes on to say that the Razr 40 Ultra will be available in Viva Magenta (as seen on the Edge 40), Glacier Blue, and Phantom Black colorways, which is a nice spread of colors.

As is often the case, the leaked renders come courtesy of Evan Blass on Twitter. The Razr 40 Ultra's huge cover display is shown off in all its glory and we also get to see how it can be customized by the user. The cover display houses the rear cameras and flash module in relevant-sized cutouts, much like those seen on regular phone displays but a fair bit larger.

As you can see from the leaked renders, users will be able to customize the fonts, display size, layout, colors, icon shape, sounds, and system theme (dark or light mode) via the cover screen, with notifications shown next to the rear cameras. It's exactly how a cover screen should behave, even on a clamshell foldable. Motorola would appear to have nailed the design of the Razr 40 Ultra, at least in this respect. Hopefully, the rest of the phone is just as good.
