OnePlus sure is taking its sweet time with its first Android tablet having revealed it during MWC 2023 but it's now possible to reserve a unit for £99 before April 28th ahead of going on open sale at a later date. Those who reserve a OnePlus Pad will also receive an “amazing gift” when they follow through on their order. Something that we don't know yet is how much the OnePlus Pad will actually cost although we'll apparently find that out on April 25th.
Updated 25 April: Pricing details for the OnePlus Pad (and accessories) have finally been released and they go as follows:
- OnePlus Pad – £449/$479
- OnePlus Stylo (Pencil) – £99/$99
- OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard – £149/$149
- OnePlus Folio Case – £59/$39
- OnePlus 80W SUPERVOOC Adapter – £39
Available in Halo Green with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, the OnePlus Pad is aimed at the premium Android tablet tier where there aren't too many options available that don't bear the Samsung branding. If you missed out on reserving a OnePlus Pad you can pre-order a unit starting from April 28 and receive either a OnePlus Folio Case or an 80W SuperVOOC charger bundled in free of charge.
While we still don't know how much the OnePlus Pad will ultimately cost, we do know that it has an 11.5-inch LCD display with a 2800 x 2000 resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of 30/60/90/120/144Hz. Powered by MediaTek's excellent Dimensity 9000 chipset, the Pad also has 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and 67W SuperVOOC fast charging for the big 9,510mAh battery. It will also launch running OxygenOS 13.1 (Android 13) out of the box.
OnePlus says that it will reveal the price of the tablet on April 25th, three days ahead of when pre-orders go live. When it's time to complete the purchase, buyers will automatically be offered a free 80W SuperVOOC Adapter and the choice of one of the following accessories:
- OnePlus Pad Magnetic Keyboard
- OnePlus Pad Folio Case
- OnePlus Pad Stylo (Stylus)
Early Bird customers will be notified on April 25th that the balance of the unspecified amount needs to be paid before April 28th.
