Following on from last year's Nord CE 2 Lite, OnePlus will unveil the rather brightly colored Nord CE 3 Lite during a virtual event held on April 4th. Accompanying the budget handset on stage will be the Nord Buds 2 earbuds which will go on sale in black and white colorways.
The “Larger than Life” launch event will see the unveiling of the Nord CE 3 Lite which sports the rather bright Pastel Lime colorway and a neat two-circle camera layout. One of those camera circles on the rear panel house is said to house a 108MP sensor along with a pair of 2MP sensors for macro and depth photography located in the second camera circle.
The phone will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 695 processor and come with a choice of 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It will also support MicroSD cards up to 1TB which should keep some of our readers happy.
We can expect the Nord CE 3 Lite to run Android 13 (OxygenOS 13) out of the box. Other notable features include a 5,000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a ‘super linear speaker'. Hopefully the Nord CE 3 Lite retains its affordable price point in the segment.
