Verizon's “all-digital wireless carrier”, otherwise known as Visible, has doubled the number of plans that it offers and also switched up its pricing strategy. The carrier now offers a standard Visible plan and a Visible+ plan, both of which feature unlimited talk, text, and data as well as nationwide 5G and LTE networking. As you might expect, the Visible+ plan is a little more expensive and comes with a few more features than the standard Visible plan, which we'll run through after the break.
The regular Visible plan now costs $30 monthly and besides the unlimited talk, text, and data allowances also features unlimited mobile hotspot access (5Mbps speed cap) as well as spam protection and unlimited talk and text to Canada and Mexico.
The Visible+ plan costs $45 per month but has a couple of upgrades such as access to 5G Ultra Wideband as well as a 50GB of ‘Premium Network Experience'. There is also international calling to more than 30 countries and international texting to more the 200 countries included in the package.
“Visible’s mission is to reimagine wireless and be radically simple, fundamentally accessible and audaciously inclusive. These plans reflect how we are doing just that,” said Angie Klein, CEO of Visible and CRO of Tracfone & Verizon Prepaid. “As nearly everyone is looking to save wherever possible with rising costs in so many parts of our lives, Visible is a great choice to put money back in your pocket, and not give up on the experience you deserve.”
Existing Visible customers can switch to either of the new plans via their account dashboard although a new SIM will be needed as the carrier is upgrading its ‘core network routing experience'. They can also refer up to 10 friends and earn $20 off their next bill (up to $200) per twelve months.
Those already with Visible that aren't planning to switch to the new plans can choose to maintain their Party Pay discount on their current plan, with rates locked in based on their Party status as of October 18, 2022.
