Verizon has just announced a new platform called “+play” where its customers can manage their subscriptions to content and entertainment services such as Netflix, Peleton, Disney+, and more in a single location. When you think that many of us have signed up to multiple streaming platforms covering TV, movies, gaming, music, and even books, being able to manage these services in a digital hub would be a convenient tool to have when it goes live later this year

Updated April 20th: Verizon has confirmed that HBO Max is the latest partner to sign up to its +play platform which will ‘allow customers to discover, purchase and centralize some of their favorite subscriptions' in a single location.

“We are thrilled to have HBO Max join as the latest streaming partner to +play,” said Erin McPherson, chief content officer for Verizon Consumer Group. “As one of the largest direct-to-consumer distributors in the United States, we have a track record of providing millions of our customers with great premium content from leading services, and our partnership with HBO Max will build on that trend while speaking directly to customer pain points, like managing multiple subscriptions all in one place. Stay tuned for even more customer-centric innovation in the streaming space with partners like HBO Max on +play.”
