These are the Huawei smartphones that will be ‘upgraded’ to Harmony OS

Huawei announced the release of HarmonyOS 2.0 a couple of weeks back and now we know which of its smartphones will be ‘upgraded' to its AOSP-based operating system. In short, Huawei is upgrading a ton of handsets to HarmonyOS 2.0, including old phones such as the Mate 10 Pro and the P10. The bad news is that Huawei says that it will still be issuing HarmonyOS 2.0 updates throughout the first half of 2022.

This is the list of Huawei smartphones and tablets that are scheduled to be updated to HarmonyOS before the end of 2021:

And here we have the list of older models slated to get the update during the first half of 2022.

We believe that Huawei will also be issuing the HarmonyOS 2.0 upgrade to a number of Honor smartphones but no details on which handsets will be eligible are known as yet. We'll update the article when Huawei makes an announcement.
