Racing Master

If you've been looking for a realistic racer on your smartphone, you should definitely be perking up for Racing Master. The sim is being co-developed by NetEase and Codemasters, the latter of which is famous for a ton of extremely popular racing games in the industry.

Their latest project promises to bring the experience of DiRT, Grid, and F1 onto the mobile market, and you can play the open beta right now.

If you want to dive in, you'll get a fairly meaty beta experience right away, with several game modes and vehicles to play around with. You'll also get a taste of how Codemasters will bring their brand of racing to a touchscreen.

The Unreal Engine 4 powered game is about 4GB in size and looks absolutely stunning, and they're utilizing a custom physics engine to model real-life famous cars and locations. You can customize those vehicles, too, and the physics engine will appropriately react to changes you make.

The beta features a few different modes to play with:

  • 1. Track Trial: Drive your favorite car on different tracks.
  • 2. Quick Race: No scores or ranks. Just enjoy the thrill of racing.
  • 3. Qualifier: Compete and see who’s the better driver.
  • 4. Casual Race: Only Solo Chase is available in this test.

Whether you want to play casually or a little more competitive, you've got some nice ways to test out the driving experience and game ahead of its full release. You can play the beta from now until April 24th, giving users an entire month to test drive.
