LG stirred up the pot with its dual-screened, swiveling Wing smartphone that shows the Korean handset maker is still passionate about making intriguing phones, as it did with the modular G5 and the self-healing Flex from yesteryear. As Jared gets to grips with our review unit, T-Mobile has announced that the LG Wing will be in stock from November 6th with a Buy-One-Get-One deal from the Uncarrier.
Updated Nov. 6th: The BOGO offer at T-Mobile is now live, and the LG Wing is also now on sale at Verizon and AT&T:
- AT&T: $41.66 monthly (30 months) or $1,049 outright
- Verizon: $35 monthly (24 months) or $999 outright
- T-Mobile: $41.66 with no deposit or $999 outright
With an RRP of $999, the LG Wing with its mostly mid-range specs isn't exactly cheap, and it's obvious that a lot of the cost went into the development of the gimbal technology and the swivel action of the secondary display. However, T-Mobile will begin stocking the LG Wing from November 6th with a couple of payment options as follows below:
- Pay $0 upfront and make $41.67 payments each month for two years (0% Interest)
- Sign up for an 18-month JUMP! On Demand lease and pay $249 upfront and $31.99 each month for the term period
- Buy One, Get One with a free LG Wing after 24 monthly bill credits when they pick up the first, without adding a new line or trading in an old device
The LG Wing features a unique swivel dual-screen design to take multitasking to the next level. The 6.8” FHD+ OLED main display and 3.9” OLED secondary display allow for two apps to be running at the same time, on separate screens. The smartphone includes triple rear cameras including a 64MP high-resolution camera plus dual video recording (front/back) capabilities to get double the perspectives in one shot when paired with the 32MP front pop-up camera. The long-lasting 4000 mAh battery gives all-day power plus fast and wireless charging capabilities when needed.
T-Mobile will stock the LG Wing in Aurora Gray and Illusion Sky colors from November 6th, are you going to pick one (or two?) up?
