With Pixel 5 orders finally shipping out in the US it's the turn of the middle sibling to become available to pre-order, almost a month since it was first announced. At $499, the Pixel 4a 5G sits between the Pixel 4a and the Pixel 5 in terms of hardware and price and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G processor, with 5G connectivity built-in.
With a bigger screen than both the Pixel 4a and the Pixel 5, the Pixel 4a 5G features 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, dual rear cameras consisting of a 12.2MP primary sensor (OIS & EIS) and a 16MP wide-angle lens, and also an 8MP front-facing camera that is housed in a punch-hole on the top left of the display.
There's a decent-sized battery with 3,885mAh capacity and 18W PD charging, an audio jack, and a rear fingerprint sensor. As you might hope, a charging adaptor is included in the retail box.
Good new, bad news.
The good news is that pre-orders for the Pixel 4a 5G are live and available from a multitude of retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H Photo, so you aren't limited to buying the phone from the Google Store. The bad news is that the waiting isn't over because Google has said that devices will only start shipping in the US by November 19th.
If you really have your heart set on the Pixel 4a 5G, though, you can pre-order via one of the links below.
